Breast cancer is cured in many different ways. It always differs from the type of it and how long it has spread. Its cures include chemotherapy, surgeries, biologic treatment, and hormonal treatment and radiation treatment. Those affected with the cancer receives more than one kind of treatment. Following are the briefs of Breast Cancer Treatments.
· Chemotherapy: These are special medicines to lessen or completely destroy the cancer. These drugs are consumed through an intravenous tube (IV).
· Surgeries: It’s a procedure where physicians cut and eradicate the cancer tissue.
· Biologic Treatment: Biologic Treatment is more effective treatment then Chemotherapy. This treatment helps with your body’s immune system to fight cancer and the side effects of the cancer. This treatment attacks the cells directly.
· Hormonal Treatment: Cancers grow certain hormones in order to grow. Hormonal Treatment stops the cells which is essential to grow for the hormones.
· Radiation Treatment: This treatment uses energy rays somewhat similar to X-rays to terminate the cancer cells. These rays are exactly targeted where the cancer is sited.
· In Breast Cancer prognosis it’s commonly seen that different types of specialists work together in curing the cancer. Wherein the surgeons carry out the operations, the oncologists treat the cancers through drugs. There are also radio oncologists who help treating the cancer by radiations.
· Breast Cancer treatment also includes clinical trials. These trials do research work which helps in finding new cure ways in treating Breast Cancer. There are many cancer institutes and as well as health institutes which helps in curing the cancer.
· Complementary and Substitute Drugs
· There are groups of drugs and practices called as Complementary Drugs which are used in addition to the normal treatments for Breast Cancer. Substitute Drugs are the medications used to treat the cancer affected instead of the standard ways of curing the cancer. These types of examples include Yoga, meditations, and a prescribed nutrition’s like herbs and vitamins.
· Complementary Drugs and Substitute Drugs do not cure Breast Cancer; it is used to help treating all the side effects of the cancer and its symptoms while treating with primary medicines. A thing to be considered is that many of these treatments are not scientifically approved and also cannot be safe.
